Dr. Anne Duong

Dr. Anne Duong is a fellowship trained and board-certified ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist. She specializes in the medical and surgical management of complex glaucoma as well as cataracts.

Dr. Duong obtained her medical degree and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she graduated as best resident of the year. She went on to conclude her medical training in Chicago at Northwestern University for her glaucoma fellowship before returning back to Texas. Throughout her training, she was involved in research and presented at state and national meetings including Texas Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons and Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.

She has expertise in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, performing traditional filtering surgery as well as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). She is also proficient in combined glaucoma and cataract surgery.

Dr. Duong is available for consultation at all locations of Glaucoma Center of Texas in Dallas, Rockwall, and Frisco. She understands the life-altering diagnosis of glaucoma and strives to empower patients to make informed decisions, developing treatment plans that balance the latest advances in glaucoma management with each individual’s unique needs.

Outside of work, Dr. Duong enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures and cuisines. She also enjoys staying active and is an avid reader. Foremost, she is excited to be back in her hometown of Dallas, Texas, spending time with her friends and family.
